Happy holidays from JOCAVI!

The holidays are a time for reflection and reaching the end of this year, we want to recall some highlights of the work we keep building together with our partners.

A year in review

We started the year building an Acoustic Shell for the first concert of 2019 at Casino Estoril; welcomed the new Sky Technology Office Center where we worked with Google; kept improving the acoustics at one of the largest concert hall in Europe, Altice Arena (20,100 seats); made acoustic treatments for Endemol and TripAdvisor offices and an auditorium for media outlet Observador.

We developed a new diffuser, the WOODQUAD, together with studio and loudspeaker designer Dave Malekpour from Professional Audio Design.

Made for medium to large rooms, this quadratic 2D solid wood diffuser is made of pinewood from self sustained forests and has an excellent average diffusion coefficient of 0.63 per square meter.

The WOODQUAD was used in Angelo Montrone's Majestic Music studio in the US; we upgraded the acoustics of Polo Grounds Music studio, Sol Colletive Studio, SueMedia Productions and High Level Entertainment.

More than 150 projects

In France, Audioprim worked with M6 Television and in the Czech Republic, Acousticdesign designed a solution for a physics classroom and Audiovision debuted a new showroom in Romania, just to name a few examples, from more than 150 completed projects designed and installed by our 59 partners.

All over the world

JOCAVI brands were present in events and trade shows as always. With For-Tune at BAU in Munich, with SB Acoustics at AXPONA in Chicago, with Aplicacions Audiovisuals at Construmat, at Porto Drumshow, at Summer NAMM and with Professional Audio Design at AES New York.

In 2020 we will debut our new production space, centralizing and streamlining all of the production steps but always maintaining the quality the brand is known for the last 27 years.

This season we would like to thank you all for your projects and continuing partnership.

Together with our partners, we constantly aim to improve acoustics all over the world.

João Vieira's private collection was scanned with the original CD file format (WAVE at 44.1kHz, 16bit per channel) and to ensure the best listening quality, it is being broadcast using HE-AAC at 192kbps at 48kHz.

Typical Indoor Comfort Standards state a temperature range of 20ºC - 27ºC (68ºF - 81ºF), and a relative humidity of less than 60%. These would be considered as normal operational levels of ATP® products' range.

Despite all the standard sizes of all products, several of our models can be customized upon previous consultation.

Sizes may slightly vary due to their production method and some inherent raw-materials characteristics.

Specifications can be modified without prior notice, if technical or commercial reasons so require.
